MGAP audits

The Mushroom Good Agricultural Practices (MGAP) program is a commodity-specific set of industry-wide food safety standards and procedures for growing and harvesting fresh mushrooms that growers can use to enhance and document safe mushroom growing practices.

Mushroom growers who participate in the MGAP program agree to comply with each listed food safety standard recognized by the American Mushroom Institute (AMI).
